The El Segundo Public Library partners with El Segundo Unified School District to provide services at four El Segundo school libraries.  


Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and Spark 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

Friday 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

6th Grade

Students are encouraged to read 1 Fiction book and 1 Nonfiction book at a 6th-grade reading level or higher (Lexile 925 - 1185). Please see the 6th grade assignment for reading suggestions and assignment details. Additional reading suggestions are available from the El Segundo Public Library. 

7th and 8th Grade

Students are encouraged to read 1 Fiction and 1 Nonfiction book pair from the 7th grade assignment and 8th grade assignment. Titles owned by the El Segundo Public Library are shown below.
